Online Storefront Manager Interface
Allows for the management and updating of the cart via the web. This ensures that regardless of your location, providing you have Internet access, you will be able to update and manage your site's cart.
Fully Integrated Customer Database
This feature is much like a catalog manager. It is a customer database that allows you to easily access customer records including purchase date, item, payment type, shipping address, order history, etc.
Batch Product Import Engine
Already have your products in a .csv file format? Excerpo® allows you to import your existing product data directly into the cart, bypassing data entry that might otherwise be needed.
Product Inventory Update
The online inventory manager is a powerful built-in tool, which enables you to easily manage your entire product inventory, including pricing and detailed information about each item. Your entire inventory can be conveniently viewed at a glance. Inventory alerts can be set to automatically notify you when your inventory falls below a specified level so you can reorder. This tool also allows you to set the quantity for product options/variances, i.e. number of red shirts, blue shirts, etc. on hand.
Print/Email Customer Invoices
Customer invoices can be printed or emailed directly from Excerpo® Storefront's online interface, enabling you to provide your customers with records of their purchases.
Batch Product Image Upload
Similar to batch product import, the support for batch image uploading gives you the ability to mass upload all of your product images and avoid the hassle of unnecessary data entry.
Copy/Paste 3 line JavaScript code
Using only 3 lines of JavaScript code, your product pages will be generated within an existing static HTML document for quick and easy integration.
Google Search Engine Friendly Layout
All versions of Excerpo® Storefront support the use of meta information to ensure that your online store can be easily accessed by the leading Search Engines.
Trackable Links
A Trackable Link is a powerful marketing tool, which enables you to determine the most effective forms of advertising. By assigning a unique code to various banners, for example, Excerpo® Storefront can record which banner is generating the most traffic. A Trackable Link could also be assigned to search engine listings, unique web pages or affiliates to track sales.
Boolean Based Product Search
All products can be searched by product title, overview, or description. Using boolean terms such as AND, NOT, or OR within your query, you can limit or expand your search results.
Easy Ebay Integration
With Excerpo® Storefront, you can easily expose your products to millions of potential buyers by listing them on Ebay for sale or for auction.
Gift Certificates
Customers can buy and send electronic gift certificates from your site and the recipient can redeem the gift certificate value during the checkout process. You can track the number of gift certificates you have outstanding for accounting and management purposes.
Wishlists
A wishlist allows your customers to shop without purchasing and leave a wishlist for those who may make a purchase for them, i.e. birthday present, wedding gift, etc.
Trackable Links for Affiliate Programs
An affiliate program is a formal, trackable relationship between you and another web business, under which you agree to reward that business for successfully referring traffic to your website. With this feature you can track the performance of affiliate relationships that you establish. You and your partner can monitor, via online reports, the total monthly sales revenue generated through referrals from the affiliate partner, and use this information to calculate referral fees. A more advanced feature coming soon is the ability to create an affiliate program to allow visitors sign up for the program online.
Integrates into Yahoo & Froogle portals
Excerpo® provides an export of your catalog formatted specifically for Yahoo Shopping Network and Froogle. These portals provide additional exposure for your site.
Product Discounting
Allows for the discounting of products based upon admin defined qualifications. Examples include discounts via coupons, promo codes or user login.
Product Options/Variances w/ surcharges
Allows for user defined 'options' to be selected during the product selection; most commonly used for the selection of an item's color or size.
Product Comparison Engine
Product comparison is a tool your customers will use when you offer multiple items in a product line. This advanced feature allows your customers to compare like products at a glance in a table format. Not yet available in the demo.
Product Ratings & Reviews System
Product rating and reviews allows your customers to peruse items and gain feedback from other buyers. This allows your customer an educational experience about products without leaving your site.

Excerpo's® UI can be fully customized to provide a wholly integrated, professional look and feel with your existing site. Customization is available via AIS Media or can be done by any qualified web developer knowledgeable in HTML and .php.
Product Custom Fields
With the help of an AIS Media consultant (please contact us for options and rates), Excerpo® can be customized to add extra fields specific to the type of products you are selling and convey the information back to your customers as they are browsing your site.
Automated Cross-Sell Engine
Enables you to associate up to 5 products to each product as possible additions that the customer might have forgotten before checking out. i.e., a customer may have purchased a brand new computer but forgot that they would need a monitor, printer, ink, print cable, and paper. This feature enables you to suggest more items to the shopping list before checkout.
Real-Time Credit Card Processing Support*
All versions of Excerpo® Storefront support real-time credit card processing (MasterCard/Visa, American Express & Discover). Processing credit cards requires a credit card merchant account with a compatible bank and secure transaction processing system (not included). Please contact our office for details.
Off-Line Credit Card Processing
All versions of Excerpo® Storefront support off-line processing using either your merchant terminal or access through your own merchant account. Order information is securely stored in the online database.
128-Bit SSL Security
SSL (Secure Socket Layer) is an accepted standard for transferring information securely across the Internet. It encrypts data passed between the server and the browser, so that unauthorized parties cannot intercept sensitive, confidential or personal information, such as a phone number or address. Excerpo® employs SSL to protect your customers' billing and shipping information when it's submitted through your checkout pages, which helps to ensure a reliable, secure shopping experience.

All versions of Excerpo® Storefront offer you the option of publishing your logo on the checkout page.
Setup Shipping Method Rules
This allows the Excerpo® administrator to configure special shipping rules for the site such as 'free shipping on orders over a certain amount' or 'all ground orders shipped free'.
Export Order Data to External Databases
Excerpo® supports exporting your data file to .csv format for use in external databases. If you require the file in another format, please contact our office to check availability.
Automated Tax Calculation
Taxes can be set and calculated based on either country, province/state or county sales tax.
